Andor Lilienthal, Chess Grandmaster, aged 99
John Kemp, fighter pilot, mountaineer, aged 92
Arakawa, Japanese artiste, aged 73
Just some of the great and the good no longer with us....R.I.P  |

Poor Andor, just one year short of his century, and some bugger puts him in checkmate!!!  |

Was the oldest grandmaster and only one other had ever been in tenure longer. He'd met or played against just about every Grandmaster since 1913. A feat unlikely to ever be reached again apparently....poor old andor |
