I couldn't move my fridge to clean behind it. My mum used to many many years ago but that was in the days when fridges were small and we didn't use frozen food. My mum had a pantry. My grandmother never had a fridge her entire life. These days however people have huge fridge freezers. It takes a couple of burly men to deliver them. So to expect a woman to regularly drag it out to clean behind it would suggest he has no concept of the reality of modern kitchens. He's living in the past when fridges could be easily moved. |

Spring cleaning? With most women working the same hourd as men why should it be women who are responsible for this? And who, these days, bothers? There may be some but it's not as common or as expected as it once was. |
