Bradford

Anyone else been watching this on Dave? Love the show but I've always been a fan of Dave Gorman.

I watched it for about 2 minutes last night and I honestly thought it was shit.

I caught a bit of the last episode. Was in stitches! I am a fan too though he isn't quite on the top form of his original series/book he is still very funny. I do like observational 'stick it to the man' humour!

Here and there

"I watched it for about 2 minutes last night and I honestly thought it was shit."

The first episode was better than last nights but you need to give it more than 2 minutes, Dave Gormans comedy has always been about longer stories.

I like this too.

But for me, in my opinion, you can't beat Ben Elton for that.

He ain't everyone's taste, but I like him. He's funny.

i need to read more slowly.

i wondered when Elton John had become a comic lol

never really been a fan of Dave Gorman, and on the back of this, still arent.

its the same as a lot of comics now (Russles Howard and Brand spring to mind). looking at mundane news stories in a slightly ironic way.

cant beat the old comedians of actually telling bloody jokes!

I agree.. Dave Gorman is not a 2 minute guy. There are long threads and running gags. You need to stick with it to get the full story.

Newcastle-under-Lyme

I loved his earlier work and even when to see him. I gave it until the first ad break and turned over.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The first episode was very good. Last night less so but still enjoyable. I'll give it another go.
