Truro

I'm working away from home at the moment. I'm in London for a month so thought I'd get me a Satnav as it's been ages since I drove in London and so I don't really know my way round.

Never had one before but heard so many good things about them, so thought I'd chuck the compass and map away and get myself into the 21st century.

Fookin' thing has took me wrong way down one way streets, down dead end streets and buses and taxi's only streets.

Bet when I get home I've got about £200 worth of fines waiting for me

Trick in London is always take the shortest route or it will send you down every main traffic filled road in town. and never by a ShiteNav, good quality up to date maps are essential

Newcastle-under-Lyme

Sounds like out of date software. The manufacturer should have a website for downloading the latest version.

But don't do what my brother did, he killed mine by deleting the wrong file

Manchester Area

Been using SatNavs in one way or another for over 10 years. Latest purchase is a Garmin which to be fair has proved better and more cost effective than the TomTom brand. Combine it with live traffic updates and auto rerouting and it gets me through London ok

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Ignore the SatNav and read the road signs and look at a map before setting out. Or, use public transport.

Where are you in London - NSEW?
