A forum is to discuss certain topics, correct?

Ok, that being said. It's normal for people to have an opinion.

If an op makes a statement, has a request. Why does that give a person the right to cast a judgement.

Grrrrrr. This is a swinging site after all. That being said many have very different thoughts on turn ons, turn offs, kinks and other things.

My request, if you have nothing good to say, nothing suitable or relevant. Keep ya mouth shut and let ya little fingers have a break from typing and go play with ya dick or pussy.

Thanks rant over! Haters n wanna be judges bring it. Free spirited people stick up for this thread.

Oh dear - we are all entitled to an opinion. Personally I don't subscribe to the "haters" stuff (that's the polite way I could describe it) some threads are controversial and evoke feelings from different posters.

What ppl need to take on board is that every person is an individual with different thoughts, feelings, opinions. We just need to be open and wise enough to know everyone won't think the same as us, so be open to all opinions and not be stuck up our arse with our own!

There's loads of New people posting just lately. Some muck in with the banter some dint. Guess which ones stick around longest.

I have to agree that sometimes hijacks take the piss. Just last week a few forumite completely hijacked a thread without offering any advice (which the OP asked for) and I felt I had to say something as it just seemed disrespectful.

Shunned.... 55 replies to Tats' post, which is more than most regulars get on a serious topic...

None of the opinions returned were malicious, quite the opposite in most cases...

It is true that most found difference and/ or irony in the original premis.... But from there to utilising the "clique" word is a leap of faith which always provokes contention... Which you will be aware of, as you are not new to this site....

For me... The fact that another's opinion differs from mine makes neither of us idiots.... And I for one look forward to your future postings....

I love a good topic to chat about and I totally agree but when people are blatantly taking the piss out of someone for spelling and stuff etc etc ...its not on iv seen it and thought thats just outright bullying and nastyness normally cos there that insecure and probably lonely

Not always a negative thing. Good that there is a community here. Just a shame some like to make people feel stupid instead of encouraging the banter... There are a LOT of people and a LOT of different characters, not everyone is going to have the same viewpoint(s).

In the end it is our opinion. Read it and make of it what you will. We don't think people are "out to get us" we are simply stating that there are a few people on here who use the forum in a negative way and it detracts from your community. I personally love the forums. Wether you have seen me posting on Seareena or not makes no never mind. I have learned many things and I will continue to comment and read. I am however not going to stay quiet when I see new people trying to join in and nasty people pouncing in with sarcastic "wit" . I will say no more on the matter... As I'm sure you will all be pleased to know

I agree I know I try my best to help newbies. I remember only to well when I 1st started on here an I remember those who helped an encouraged me an the 1s who tride shooting me down. Luckly for me im a big engh boy to know it takes all sorts an that's what makes it fun.......iv had side splitting laffs on here more arguments than iv fingers 1 or 2 bans oops

an also tears an hart felt sympathy on some things iv read an posted an for me thats what its all about the only thing I do know is when it stops being fun I want be here any longer..

I love my angel delight. If it wasn't for my angel delight I wouldn't even log in. We have so many angel delight in-jokes that it can be confusing for newbies but I don't care, they make me feel validated and special. I love being part of an angel delight and I love my fellow angel delighters.

Opinion is one thing, believing YOU have THE opinion turns me right off. Friendly banter is great, but there are a number of malicious posters here who seem to get off on put-downs and nastiness.

Do you think anyone who disagreed with your op should not have commented ? Suggesting some opinions should not be aired is the equivalent to censorship

All that said personal attacks are not nice , I'm of the opinion debate a subject and articulate a reasoned perspective , not disagree give no reason and then report to name calling, however let the name callers show their colours so they can indeed be assessed on their merits or lack of

As for going off topic , it's healthy and can give new perspective or insight . an op can pop back at any time and ask to come back on track

Rather than biatch about those who disagree or become personal use them as an incentive to raise your game if you think them wrong articulate why , if someone is being nasty the whole forum will see for themselves

And mainly enjoy the forum don't take anything to heart but once released into the public domain do not be precious about a post or op

I've read through this and I'm going to toss my tuppence in to the mix.

There are those that goad and are malicious on threads. Some will ignore them and others will rise to the bait. You can usually work out who is deliberately poking the fire and trying to start a keyboard riot as they will keep coming back when the topic reverts to some semblance of good debate.

Good debate reflects a range of opinions and not just those in support of the OP. Your OP basically asked for "free spirited people to stick up for this thread". I found that a little oxymoronic.

A little levity can help with a thread sometimes.

There are different types of thread posters. Those that start a thread and return to it, tend it and guide it back on topic, if they feel that is needed. Those that post and sit back and watch, never posting again. Those that feel that once they have posted that thought they then participate, possibly not even defending their original post, and let it run its course.

What is the real difference between Facebook and this forum? Almost every day someone will say that this isn't Facebook. Both are driven by the postings of a disparate group of people, some of whom will know each and most of whom have never met.

Simply, a thread hijack is only successful if others join in. On its own it is a single post that people can choose to acknowledge or ignore.

Those are my thoughts for free.
