I camp on my own with the dog, and do not mix that hobby with other recreational activities.

My friends and I really mean it when we joke that we would prefer to camp in middle of nowhere with the raw reality and beauty the planet has for free than suffer the containment and pretentiousness that a 5 star hotel gives

I can afford luxury hotels quite comfortabley yet I pretty much always camp in this country
