My defeat at Ulysses put me off trying Finnegan's Wake. I'm a failed reader.

There's a great song by Christy Moore called Finnegans wake. I admit to being at a few dinner parties and pretending to have read the James Joyce book by quoting from the song and using the songs storyline. No one has caught me out thus far.
