Do you know if you let the water stand for a few hours - it will taste better when you boil it....

As an young apprentice working in an environments where tea drinking was regarded as serious pursuit which deserved the uppermost respect in all aspects of it making,,,,,,

I was always taught to refill the kettle immediately after use,,,,,, but that was more to do with avoiding the punishment of a thick ear from the person who wanted to use it next…
