I was just checking the mail when i noticed a card of some sort. Then it suddenly dawned on me that it's our 24th anniversary on Monday.
That was way too close for comfort and not the first time i have done it.

When it happened a few years ago, i came in from work and went into the conservatory where Nick was sitting. There was a card on the table with my name on it. My first thought was, "My birthday isn't for another couple of week". Then it dawned on me....... Nick said the look on my face was worth it. Sheer horror.
