"It can,t be that bad! I left the tops of the pennies yesterday which hd 8 inches for down south and managed. Surely the gritters have been ot down there by now!  "
It's because we live at the bottom of a cul de sac with a steep drive and some places in the welsh valleys even snow ploughs fear to tread  |

same here...been stuck since thursday. no ones coming into the three roads here, no delivery drivers, no taxis, definitely no gritters as its sheet ice and frozen snow, still 7 inches in places, and very steep hills to get in/out.
serious danger of not getting out for christmas, on the one year we planned to go away overnight...just feel for my boys |

i just watched the gritter struggling to go up hill here but my wee clio made it!! really bad here now but got all the supplies in!! really feel for people when it like this and they cant do anythin they planned xx |

Snowing again here!
Just driven through town, some people really should not be allowed out with cars in this weather; I suspect though they have enough trouble driving normally as it is! LOL
I spent time watching people get stuck in the middle of the road and then drove round them when they gave up!
And that was in a little Ford! LOL
