Although English has so many exceptions to it's own rules that make sticking to them more and more silly as time goes on. |

There are no rules to the English language, but a sensible one would be to focus more on ensuring what you mean can be understood, and less on the supposed rules. |

Do you just mean that you're supposed to say "A is the same as B" rather than "A is the same to B" or "A is the same banana B" or whatever?  |
