the economy appears to be moving, but its actually dead on the inside

By that are we to assume that we are walking around, shuffling about and doing nothing worthwhile?
(seeing as we are talking "economy" I'll also assume that we are supposed to be "spending" as a worthwhile activity)
If this is the case, we mustn't forget that it was the poisoned-banks that took the life from our economy.
To cure the infection, cut it out at the root. |

It wasn't just the banks though was it....it was a culmination of things, including the real possibility of the world hitting 'Peak Oil' a few years ago.
It's never as simple as they would have us believe, the banking crisis was real....but also a convenient excuse for much of the worlds financial woes.
