For porn,
Given the rise of smart phones / only fans / websites (ok they've been on the go for a while) ...is the use of physical media for porn dead ?
I was rooting around the loft and found my old stash of dvds...( just the half dozen) hardly a trove  ...and just wondered others thoughts, or are you keeping a hold of videos / dvds for nostalgic reasons  |

I'd say physical media is better, it can never be deleted from a server or an imaginary library after you've purchased it, it can't be changed or edited, you've just got a copy of whatever you've bought, the end.
However I don't care enough about any film, music or program to go keeping a load of discs around the place. |

I mean do they even use real peeps for porn, insta, influencers or OF etc anymore following the rise of AI??
I read a story about a marketing agency that created an female AI-bot influencer and then opened an OF account because 'she' had thousands of followers on insta and are raking it in 
I find it baffling that men pay to interact with a computer replicated 'woman'... |

Streaming is certainly the best way of getting porn.
However there are benefits of physical media for music or mainstream movies.
My Now Xmas cd still has the original Fairytail of New York lyric & my DVD of The Life of Bryan cannot be re-edited if the woke brigade decide the Stan/Loretta scene is offensive.
In the same vein The Abyss UHD 4k release is now postponed indefinately since the scene of the rat breathing the oxygen enriched liquid might offend animal rights groups or encourage people to drown rats. It looks like all streamable versions in the UK will be similarly censored.
With everything streamed it does give goverments & corporations the power to control or rewrite what we see.
It should also be remembered there are plenty of countries where you can't access porn online. I recently went to Indonesia & no porn sites were accesible, SH & all the other swinging/fetish sites I have a presence on were also blocked.  |

I had porn on dvd’s (French porn - incredibly dirty!) and found it much easier to fast forward to the bits that would get me off.
Having to faff around on a porn site you either get short samples that show fuck all or you have a two hour marathon to get through and the fast forward button is half way across the screen. This makes it tricky to work when you’re holding the phone in one hand and using a dildo in the other.
