I do often wonder if the sort of food we only really eat at Xmas is some sort of ancient colonic irrigation/expulsion "rite".
It all ties in with the solstice/darkness change...wonder whether we put our bodies through some sort of "gut transformation" in preparation for seasonal food change.
Or maybe we just like farting around relatives when they can't escape?

We grew our own last year - so froze them. Each one is like a small atom bomb "
look we don't all live int eh country side...the most I grow is orchids ( inedible unless you want to unalive) and a tenacious basil that thinks it should grow to the roof from my windowsill. everything else dies in my london flat.
 I did much better when I had an actual garden. |
