Norwich

I just had Christmas dinner with my son, my ex and her boyfriend.

In the house we used to live together and raised my son.

It was slightly weird, but went well.

*

Who will be present on your Christmas dinner?

Any weirder than mine?

North West

We've hosted international students who were staying with my Dad, in the past. Dunno if that's weird though!

That's actually a really nice things to do.

Many can't go home for Christmas.

I work with many, so I know.

Silver lining is they didn't fly to Portugal today, so I can go there to see my son today.

Good Thanks, I hope you're alright.

Merry Christmas!

I had parsnip soup alone. actually bloody gorgeous, ….. and vegan ….

I’m doing a buffet with my kids later, but I sure as hell wouldn’t sit down with my ex and her boyfriend the fucking wife stealing slimeball.

* just my opinion.

We didn't have sex long before we separated.

Probably she cheated, but not with him.

We have an extremely good relationship with my ex. Most likely the break up has something to do with my invite.

He was nice to me though.

I don't want to.

She would piss me off making a move.

I was a good shag before her.

Probably because of regular sex.

We had sex 3-5 times in the first 2 years after she gave birth.

Nothing for 3 years.

Numerous flings after separation.

She ruined my sexputation, then fucked strangers.

I rather don't fuck for 4 more years.

Guarding my remaining self respect.

Otherwise we are friends and open about everything.

Relationship with her again?

Noooooooo waaaaaay!

several Xs featuring in this thread.

I suspect that quite a few are spending Christmas with their 'Y' and wondering why.

Tonypandy.

There were approx 25 for Christmas dinner today, in 2 adjoining houses.

My eldest brother, SIL, my 2 nephews, my parents, SILs sister and her partner and my ex husband in one house

Middle brother, his partner, their baby, her parents, her step mum, 3 siblings,2 kids, my youngest brother and his daughter, and 2 of my brothers mates in the other.

Later, all kids alongside my youngest brother, 2 mates and my ex are heading few streets away to mine for afternoon of games.

I am not present at any house as I'm at work.

South American style. Celebrating yesterday the 24th all day until midnight, under 35 C degrees, 40 people, a lot of kids, a lot of food and a swimming pool. Madness. Today is the classic nap hangover day after Xmas.

Exactly the same situation in our house. The children's dad came over for a few hours and had Christmas dinner with us.

It's nice, the children benefit and feel loved on this special day. We are civilised adults putting the kids first

Exactly, we are still kind of best friends without benefits.

It's kind of caused a Christmas drama this year with new BF.
