Gallstones, weeks of agonising pain all round the torso, as well as going a Homer Simpson shade of yellow because it fucked up my kidney functionality too.

That was pretty grim on the pain spectrum.

Kidney stones - more agony than anything else I've suffered. Needed a lot of morphine to get it under control when I first went into A&E (as luck would have it, I was in NW Scotland at the time so getting to hospital was quite a trek).

Still have numbness in my toes years later. Punched the wall to transfer the pain elsewhere.....bad idea

Having appendicitis when you're 5 with a gangrene appendix wasn't fun. Don't remember the pain much these days. Though I did recently break my right, a nasty fractured metatarsal, self inflicted. Still made roast dinner for the Mrs the day after.. because I'm a fucking trooper

A toe cap is essentially an arch, which is inherently strong when upright. Look at bridges, viaducts, etc. However, when I was knocked down, I was 90 degrees to the perpendicular, making that arch inherently weak. It crushed, folding my foot in half lengthways.

Paper Town Central, Essex.

I've had some pretty horrific injuries in the past but never cried or whimpered, but the physical pain of kidney stones brought me to tears. The nurse at the hospital said the same as all the others here. Comparable to giving birth if not worse. What's even worse is the fact that once you've had them, you're likely to get them again at some point.

I was also told, a tablespoon if Cider Vinegar diluted in water every now and again can help slow their forming down.

Fingers crossed so far.

Had kidney stones twice.

Sat in A&E crying and laughing at the pain.

Fortunately they have good pain killers.

Was a terrible pain as it went on a while.

However have Sarcoidosis which means my immune system attacks itself occasionally.

At one stage it manifested in my right eye.

All I remember is walking outdoors in the sun and it felt like someone pushed a hot poker through my eye and brain. Dropped me instantly into a ball. Shorter period of pain than kidney stones but worse for me.

I had kidney stones a few years back, thankfully not as developed, and managed to pass them naturally. It felt like I wanted to pee all the time but could only pass weak little trickles, then one day at home I passes the stone in the loo. I remember it being the shape of an arrowhead, and I heard it hit the porcelain. I've never felt instant relief like when that bugger passed.
