Fellas has your lady ever surprised you with flowers?
If not flowers what equivalent to flowers has or does she get you once in a while eg ‘to say thanks or just show some love lol’ 
Ladies have you ever got your fella flowers? Again if not exactly flowers what equivalent gift gesture do you/have you surprised your fella with?

My wife surprised me with flowers on a number of occasions. She was always better at it than me.
The most memorable occasion was the Valentine's Day I was in the army. I was the Group Signals Officer for one of the most active regions during the Unrest - surrounded by macho SADF Permanent Force personnel in a very busy posting. The morning of Valentine's Day, a huge bouquet was delivered to HQ reception, with a teddy bear and chocolates. The HQ women were all abuzz about who this was for. I got called through from my comcen, to discover these amused women all looking at me as I collected my big bouquet of roses from my girlfriend. It sat in the comcen all day, much to the amusement of my signallers. The Ops Major and his officers all stuck their noses in to look at it too. My girlfriend thought it was hilarious. No wonder I married her.  |

If I were to do that sort of thing it'd be a food item (chocolate, alcohol, maybe something more niche depending on specifics), something consumable I know they like (a nice notebook), or a voucher towards something (... because you never buy a book lover books, sort of thing) |
