Hope it's a good day for everyone....I'm going into London - sort of a mix of doing the touristy bit and christmas shopping.

I know what you mean hun we went away for the night and I missed the daft cat as much as my kids!!
No tree up til the 13th its the rules  put it up 12 days before christmas and take it down 12 days after thats what my family always did when I was a kid me I try to wait as long as the kids will let me but that means it would have been up for weeks already

Morning all, I have to buy a Birthday cake today and sneak it to the pub where we are having a get together tomorrow for my daughters birthday, its a surprise. Might do a bit of Xmas shopping while I'm out. |

Better get you bum in there early me lassy, this time o year it gonna be packed!!!
One year i made the mistake of letting me father and his wife take me to Oxford St for the sales - if i had lifted both me feet of the floor at once 0 i would have still been moving down the road it was that packed.
Luckily me dad a big fella so me and the wife could see if he tried to hover in a shop door way!!!
But trying to get over was hard work, lol
Shouldnt be that bad today -but its an ecperience i tells ya!! LOL x |

Started off quiet grey this morning - very grey skies but as the sun was rising it lit the houses at the back - out of my bedroom window - and it made it look like the houses were alight.
Very pretty.
Love the weather tho - not as grey as its now day - but not too cold - just that wind chill that the poor window cleaner was moaning about, poor sod- imagine being up a ladder in those gales!!! |
