I've no idea. But I dyed mine blue today, after 10+ years of no dye, in a moment of madness.  I'm getting used to it though and it's growing on me.

What style are you normally comfortable with? "
In the last ten or so years I've had shoulder length to very long, all one length, layered, straightened, curly (that's my natural hair) and always tinted. I've been comfortable with all those |

I did it after our daughter was born because of my inability to get myself in and out of the bath. Shorter hair needed less maintenance (or I could get away with less). I've kept it, though. I think mine is described as a kind of pixie cut. I had a long asymmetric bob before that, with the longest bits at shoulder length. I've never grown my hair out again since cutting it very short and I prefer it this way now.
It'll grow back, if you don't like it.... |

When I've wanted a change I ask my hairdresser to recommend something to it. I usually like it.
At the moment I'm seriously embracing my natural texture - it's probably a similar amount of work to straightening etc (maybe a bit more), but it's a bit of a learning curve. (I have quite wavy hair, but it's very similar to the process for curly hair) |

It will grow back you're right but as I hurtle at break neck speed towards another decade I'm not sure I'd do it. |

I cut 5 inches off yesterday because I don't cope well in the heat so I've got a long inverted Bob. Plus it will be easier to colour.
I can see you with a Kim Basinger 9 1/2 weeks cut, lots of texture but able to scoop up when it's warm. |

This is one of the most BS free curly girl youtubers I know - she's not an influencer as far as I know and it's not all about products

She has type 3 hair (curly rather than wavy). In a really quick summary of difference between curly and wavy hair - you may need more shampoo if you're oily, less conditioning (but maybe more than you're used to) and waves seem to fall apart more easily than curls, so you need to be more gentle when manipulating wavy hair (so for example, after creating a gel cast, you clap out the crunch rather than scrunching out the crunch)
- plopping is sort of tipping your head into the t-shirt or microfibre towel (no regular towels ever ever) and tying it up into a turban |

I tend to just go with what suits me rather than follow the trends.
I got a slightly different colour last time, and the cut was a wee bit different as well. Because I'm lazy, I always want my hair to be long enough to tie back lol. Have a browse for any styles that you like, and talk to your hair dresser to see if they would work with your hair
