fruit or other edible items you like that are not commonly found here. I was at a market today and were selling punnets of luquats, bought a couple and just had some. Delicious and so sweet. I think last time I had some was few years back in Spain or Greece on holiday. Pink lady apples are great but every now and then something unsual is good

It's true that British strawberries are just so delicious. I sometimes to to one of those pick your own places. They are great if you have one nearby

I think you are thinking of barberries (zhereshk)... Vet tart tasting but different from cherries
