I think I was around 10 or 11 when Everton beat them in the FA Cup semis at villa Park, tickets where hard to come by and I'll never forget my experience of bunking in that day, it was a strange one.
The cheeky bustards scored 1st, Ricky Hill, great player and a "friend" of Peter Reid, if I remember right we punished them by teasing them till the last few mins, we let them think they were going to win, then equalised with a few minds to go, winner in extra time |
