For those who may be interested, and local to Merseyside, there is a big event being held bank holiday weekend on Liverpools Waterfront.

This also includes an appearance of the Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane for those plane enthusiasts. Saturday and Sunday they’ll be flying up and down above the Mersey River.

Had family who served on the Atlantic convoys. Not near Liverpool sadly.
