Do we need to know anything about the punctuation?
What has John got (although it may be a foreign 'Jonh' and his whole name appears to be 'jonhs')?
Why is Mary called 'Five apples Mary'? and what's she got three of?
Also Tamzin, she 'got six now', but it could be anything, cos we are not told she has six apples.
The question we are asked is "How many has" (though there is no question mark, so what is a 'has' anyway). Finally we are left with a statement - Stan got, but we have to ponder what he got.
This is all too much for me, I shall go back to my report. |
