I can’t answer tbf, it may be legitimate or might be he’s just a twat (or had that wank as mentioned above!)
It’s more unusual if you’ve met before though, rather than someone you’ve never met, I assume a good time was had by all last time around?

Maybe he forgot about the arranged meet ..
Or he is feeling poorly or a relative/friend called around.
He may have a perfectly good reason for cancelling at the last minute...

Exactly! This is why I always check a couple of hours before, saves me getting ready if they're going to cancel.

Ditto. I check before getting ready, then just before meeting. I had one guy send me his location/movements to prove he was coming, like fab-uber-eats  |

Has happened twice with two women from here. They both cancelled me for the first meet. Then after rescheduled the meets and they both literally cancelled at 5 mins. Two separate women on separate occasions. I wasn't meeting two at same time. I've also unfortunately had to cancel on someone from here. Was due to fly to UK and cancelled it owing to illness. Rescheduled a few month later and I had to cancel again. We chatted again 6 months later and I made it to the UK and half an hour before I was due to meet she cancelled me
as she was hung over from the night before. We don't chat anymore so opportunity lost. Ah well. |

Sounds like he had a better offer or was hedging his bets in some way.
Could also have been one of his kids had descended unannounced and messed up his plans.
Pretty poor form not to have given an explanation and a suitable apology.

We have had to do it... We had a child that threw up.
Its why we only meet locally. With lots of small kids there is more opportunity for things to get in the way. We Could not have people travelling miles. |
