The local butcher in my town used to win national awards every year for his sausages, particularly his cumberlands which are amazing! I used to stock up on them before coming up to Leicester. Great in a toad in the hole.  |

Also, me ma used to buy a Lb of the cumberland sausage meat, a Lb of mince meat.... cook it all up with some onions, melt in some cheese, wrap in puff pastry. Awesome sausage meat loaf.

not eaten sausages for years....but used to like pork & Leek, pork & apple, or lamb & mint from my local farm shop......Hope to be making my own sausages next year |
