I’ve seen them before on the North Norfolk Coast. Unfortunately it’s cloudy here at the moment

I was on the look out tonight when I was driving but nothing to see as it's bloody pouring down here. They were amazing last night according to some friends photos they took.

I've been out look but no luck. Ever since I read about them when I was about 8 I've wanted to see them and hoped this might be my chance.

It's patchy cloud here, with some stars shining through the gaps and the moon has a moon bow.

I read earlier that we might be able to see them from London.

I wouldn't bet on that, unless they mean from the Greenwich Observatory.

I can’t see anything at the moment stuck in my truck with other trucks around me all queuing up to get unloaded and hoping it’s not to cloudy later here in Burton upon Trent

Clear sky in London, but far too many lights - just taken the dog for a walk in the park, but even then the lights from surrounding areas are too bright.

.. With her mobile phone!

Whereas we saw nothing and we're only an hour away from there

Burton-On-Trent

Have always wanted to see them but alas it's too cloudy here tonight. Closest thing I've seen is noctilucent clouds while visiting the North West of Scotland.

I was lucky enough to visit Iceland just after the first lockdown and I’d have to say seeing the lights was an amazing experience

I’d highly recommend giving Iceland a go should you ever get the chance. Truly amazing place

"They were seen last night in parts of kent"

Too much light in this part of Kent tonight. Main culprit is the very bright Moon high in the north west sky.

Had a quick look and could only see Essex twinkling merrily.

Also checked the appropriate radio frequencies for auroral propagation of distant radio and TV stations, without any evidence. Usually these things don't come back a second night running with the same gusto, so I am writing it off as a missed opportunity.

Back to bed and reading the forum!
