That's the second set of tree lights this year!

And I'm not spending Christmas eve fiddling with bulbs.

I now have three sets of lights in my house that don't work and no idea where the spare bulbs for any of them are!

Oh well, got a slightly ocd friend popping over later, may have to leave them very obviously out and sigh about it...

We're dumping all our bulbs sets after this year and hopefully buy a load of LED sets in the Jan sales. Most stockists sell them for a fraction of their pre-Xmas cost so that's what we'll be doing.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Don`t bother trying in the sales! Most big places like B&Q will have taken them of the shelves for spring stock by now anyway!

we've got a set of lights on our living room tree that are 40 or more years old and still going strong, the ones we bought last year for the dining room tree are broken already

I bought a set of lights for £1.97 from Tesco and they do the job. Feel a bit like ebonezzer scrouge though
