Due to a silly arguement, my son decided he wasnt speaking to me .
This was 4 years ago and add to the fact he lives in the usa, it made things very hard to sort things out.
I emailed etc , birthdays, xmas, to no avail.
I thought i would try again and to my utter joy........he emailed me back and such a beautiful mail. 
I spent about an hour blubbing bigtime and now i have the biggest smile. Its been the best present a mom could have and yes........miracles do happen |

That is lovely for you both Peaches, lets hope that 2013 sees you both grow closer again.
I'd break my heart if I wasn't on talking terms with my kids.

I'm really happy for you. I haven't spoke to my natural father for over 20 years but that was his choice, not mine (he hasn't spoke to my other three siblings either and hasn't met any of his 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His loss.)

When I moved out if my mum's to go and live with my dad I felt I couldn't speak to my mum. This was only for a few weeks but it was the hardest few weeks of my life.
I'm so happy that your son has got back in touch with you peaches and hope that this is the start of a new chapter in both of your lives x x |

Thank you all.
I still havent stopped smiling and woke up thinking i had dreamt it...so had to go and check the mail again.
Its a hard time of year for quite a few folk ,especially when missing loved ones,i know its been the hardest 4 years to me without my son.
Im must be in santas good book this year and hopefully...things can only get better.

That is true. Unfortunately it will be shitty for at least six months first. But as I say, I am blessed to have love and lovely people to lean on in the meantime. |
