Can someone tell me..,

Sorry if I'm not meant to ask this but I still haven't managed to read the forum rules... Often as there's conversation in the forums I pop onto people's profiles to see if we would be compatible (men and woman alike) so I can get an idea of them from their profile blurb.
I have tried to click on someone's today and it says I'm not allowed to view it because either admin have suspended the account, they have blocked me or I have blocked them. Now I know I haven't blocked them, and I can't imagine they'd block me seeing as we have never interacted privately, and I don't think admin has suspended their account because they have posted today. So I'm confused??? Anyone else encountered this (admin if this isn't allowed to be asked please just delete)

If you're on your phone click on their profile and when it says you cant view the profile click the "5 more" at the top and then block them
If they show on your block list they've blocked you... If they don't show their profile's beem suspended |

It doesn't bother me if someone has blocked me its their perogative, I thought maybe it was a site glitch as I hadn't interacted with the person so couldn't see why they would of done. |

It can be because you have expressed an opinion they think would make you incompatible so they have blocked you.

People have blocked me without any interaction and I have blocked people because I don't like their attitude towards other people on the forums.
We can't all be all things to all people, life's too short to worry about it... |

That would just say the profile is hidden.
Either the OP has been blocked or admin have suspended the profile she tried to view. |

Yeah that's cool if that's what's happened. I didn't think of that tbh I just associate the block button with people getting dodgy pms. Thought maybe the site was playing up. X |

I have, on several occasions gone to view a profile of someone I've never even talked to and discovered that I'm blocked!
I just have that effect on people! |

Yep..I think thats the case..we never get males showing that they have viewed us, maybe because our preferences are women and couples or a certain age group, pictures on profiles, not newbies and only registered members etc.. |

You can block them... On desktop just type their name into the box at the top of your block list.
On mobile version click on the profole and click the "more" along the top and you can block from there |

Its most likely you're on their block list. People block for whatever reason (and you cant ask them because you're blocked).
Im probably on more block lists than I could count just from my forum posts.
Happily, I don't actually give a shit.
