Have seen cod worms once in a peice of raw cod a few years back....
shivering even thinking about it.

I would guess as long as the cod is properly cooked, no.
I wouldn't swear to that though. I can't eat cod so cod worms don't affect me.
I expect a lot of our food has bacteria or parasites in that we don't know about but which are killed by proper handling and cooking.
I didn't know prawns have worms too. I can eat prawns (though only if they've been shelled. Their eyes freak me out otherwise). My initial reaction was yuk, but then sense kicked in and I realised other food I eat without thought can also carry worms.
I'll need to do some reading up but since eating prawns has never killed me before, I'll probably be ok to carry on. |

I can eat pretty much anything, even did a weekend "survival" course where the food made the "I'm a celebrity" stuff look tame.... but.... its Gin for me.
Drank a quater pint of it as a start to a drinking competion once, and now the smell is enough to send me running for the loo! |
