I'm one of life's over thinkers and also one of life's shallowest people (in terms of looks)
I've overcome tough times, crippling depression, the loss of a best friend, emotional retardation, a hatred of counselling, self deprication to the point of self abuse, self flagulation and a hyperactive sex drive (which is not all its cracked up to be)
Anyhow, I'm still here!! Just enjoy yourself.
Yet I get so frustrated that people literally live in such an asset based society that personal values are lost.

Not thinking isn’t an option sadly, we’re all trapped inside these meat suits and locked inside our brains but overthinking is a killer.
It’s all about learning to control those mental processes and not allowing that process to spiral.

Well done on the overcoming OP! It’s a never ending uphill battle sometimes.
I find distraction stops the overthinking. Play some records, some XBox, read a book, go walking - whatever gets you out of your head and I always find that everything works it’s way out eventually. |
