Watched that idiot Piers Morgan 'interviewing' Burt last night - Burt was fantastic, what a great guy - I only watched it because a friend told me it was worth watching - it made me cry a couple of times, a pity that a buffoon was interviewing him, how on earth has he got so far on telly with no talent?! Z

Am I the only person who likes Piers?

Seems so .... I don't know anyone else who does yet I find him quite warm.

He's definitely a softy at heart and business like when needed.

Burt is such an underrated actor, it's such a shame his agents picked him poorly scripted films over the years.

Deliverance Ahh a masterpiece in acting and classic film in general.

I find Piers to be a vile, repugnant, bottom feeding lowlife. But I enjoyed the interview. Burt's a great guy and seems really humble.

Burt is one of my heroes.

Not just the car films, but his persona as an actor come through to make him one of the greats.

I will have to try and catch the interview. I love Deliverance and Smokey is the OH's fav childhood films! We both love Boogie Nights.

He seems like a decent fella and can imagine he would be a great laugh to have a beer with

I think Burt once said "if you met me between 1970 and 1980 then I'm sorry...." He was d*unk and off his head all the time.

Mr Morgan was the lap dog of Rupert Murdock for a long time and a more arrogant little sh1te you could not wish to meet.... Mr Morgan that is....

My condemnation of Mr Murdoch is even greater. For more than 20 years he was an untouchable God of this country and how he abused it for this own gain is unforgivable.

I was deeply relieved when the phone hacking scandal broke that we had finally come to our senses and just in the nick of time.

Morgan might be ok but he is no Michael Parkinson and it shows....
