Hi all i know from a single guys point of view on here it can be hard for us, even starting a convo is a challenge
So everyone what are your go to, will work convo starters when messaging someone ? |

I have found it can be a nightmare to know what to write . Mainly due to the fact I know my message will be one of hundreds they have to read . So what will make them choose to reply to me ?
So I have tried lots of different kinds of messages and I find I get just as many unopened or not replied to messages regardless of what I say .
Think it’s mainly down to looks here .

D'you know, I am in the same boat here with all other men. I'm genuine (veris and photo veri to show), but still starting a convo without saying something that's already been said is a needle in a haystack. If we say things straight to the point, there's been no repport or buildup so where do we start?? |

To be honest, mate, I don't think there's any such thing as a "go to" line. Be yourself! Find something on a profile that resonates with you and start there, but I think it's got to be genuine - anything that looks like a "line" will appear fake. Good luck! |

The “couple here” line (from a single male profile) is also a classic.

We used to do that but then if I am correct it doesn’t show the single men on who looked at you. For personal reasons on which we won’t elaborate we like to see who’s looking.

To me the first message isn't really a dealbreaker as to whether I reply. Unless it's suggesting they are speaking to a sex object rather than a person.
I look at profile first anyway. If that attracts me I've seen me replying to a 'hi, how are you' message.
Conversely if you write paragraphs of what you will do to me it's a guarantee no reply. I'm here for me not your fantasy porn scene |
