I think if someone got a filter on and you can't mesagse them. You should not be able to see them in the first place save you time reading the profile and disappointment. Then again most people don't reply anyway lol |

You don't have to. The filter's right at the top so you'll know straight away. But if a profile is too long for you, just skip it and move on! |

I also understand that some people get lots of messages so don't have the time it's just hard work looking and getting to chat don't worry about a meet lol |

If you look at a profile it’s says looking for. It says if they are looking for a man etc and age range. If your not in that then don’t continue reading. Simple |

What's worse is when they've viewed you, knowing your status (M, F, MF etc) and your age as it shows before they view your profile, and when you view them back their profile states "no single males, no over 40s" etc. Why view you and get your interest up when you're not what they're looking for! Aaaaarrrggghhh!

If it's a man filter, look for "not looking for single guys" under the looking for section. That means that men can't message that profile |

A lot of people are offended by this post but they don't understand. It's not that I can't contact the people with the filter on that is the issue. The problem for me is I believe the filter should block people seeing the profile save a lot of time browsing. And guys there is no need being an arse about my post you don't want some people looking at your profile and message you that's OK you have a filter for that I don't have a filter to stop me seeing your profile unfortunately. And unfortunately they don't have a block rude argent people either. |

If you're looking through updates, all you can see is a name, not who/what they are looking for. I look at a lot of people who aren't "compatible" but I don't know that until I've clicked through to their profile.

If you're looking through updates, all you can see is a name, not who/what they are looking for. I look at a lot of people who aren't "compatible" but I don't know that until I've clicked through to their profile.

On the plus side at least it saved you spending ages typing a message tailored specifically to that profile, making reference to all the points contained and in particular any strict criteria they were looking for in a potential play partner.
I mean it must take absolutely fucking ages to write some of the messages i've seen in my fab lifetime, given the careful, bespoke nature of the content and the close attention paid to our profile that's clearly demonstrated by the simple fact they bothered to message in the first place.

Another valid point if you don't like what you see or read by all means block that person that's fair enough. Don't send them a message then block them so they can't respond to your message you are getting your say yes but they can't. |
