There is the little matter of it still being the Christmas holiday, meaning most sites, hosting sites, ISPs, etc., all have skeleton staffing levels...
....so when problems are detected, there aren't necessarily the people on hand to fix them quickly... |

It was the mobile site yesterday that was struggling before they fixed it |

I've had lags and error message pages and I'm on a laptop..."
It might help if I knew what problems to expect.
It is fine on the forums and all my searches and messages. I've never used it for much else. |

Does everything I want to do. XP is on most of my various machines. Windows 7 on another laptop. Not mad keen on 7's sound panel. Apart from that I have another laptop running Linux. Fine for internet stuff, not so good as a workhorse due to incompatible programs.
None of my XP desktops/towers are on line or have ever been software updated but are workhorses doing other things which need a PC. Still got a couple of W95/8s playing music.
No newer Windows systems used here, I don't like the entertainment and social media based user interfaces. Fab is the closest I get to using social media and is also quite good entertainment! |
