Mine lived to a 102 and managed to span 3 centuries, albeit only by a year either side.

I remember her telling me she had her appendix removed when she was eleven with etha anesthetic, and remembers seeing dead bodies being carried on open carts from the mine accidents.....milk being brought to the door on horse and carts in churns, the list goes on.!!!
