I was followed all the way home by another car right up my arse. It annoys me so much!! It's dangerous because if something happens, they won't have time to stop.
I always leave a decent distance between me and the car in front. Why can't everyone else?!  |

i have found on motorways or dual carriageways that when you leave a decent safe distance between you and the car in front in front some prat will jump into the gap!.
thus cutting down the safe aspect of the gap, 
you ever found that?. |

i dont drive but i remember what my instructor said 2 me when had was learning "only a fool breaks the 2 second rule" say that as the person in front passes a point and when u finish it that's 2 seconds |

The standard tactic here is to slow down even further and frustrate the hell out of them. Frustrating annoying drivers is almost as rewarding as blowing a load. |

as i ride a motorbike i leave a good distance between myself and the vehicle in front.
always need that as it can be a life saver and give you time to get out of trouble.
but yes i do hate people travelling close and i slow down to near walking pace just to piss them off.
then let them past and sit behind them with full beam on.
people are in a rush to go anywhere these days. no consideration so everyone just loses it.
i do however give space and time to cars with young kids in it.
you just dont know what state of shouting the parents are in. |

Yup I do that. 3 seconds if it's wet.....
Hate it when they get right behind you on motorways and start flashing. If they are polite I always move over. If they are rude I ignore them.
My boss said to touch the brake with your left foot so the brake light comes on but keep your foot on the accelerator so you don't actually slow down. Just in case they are too lose or not paying attention. |

I used to have an old car when i was younger, The gearbox was so worn, that you could move the gear stick over almost enough to light the reversing lights.
That soon made ppl drop back if they were travelling too close behind in the dark haha. |

Try driving a tractor in heavy traffic around urban areas! You leave a sensible stopping distance and have some prat who absolutely must get ahead of you because they don`t want to be held up and I then have to lift the front bucket to prevent me from opening their bootlid! |

i recently went on a speed awareness course and have started driving to the speed limits.....my oh my does that piss people off haha |

When you are in a traffic jam like I was on the M6 today with a lorry trying to sit in your boot it is pretty hard to make way for it. It had nothing to do with them giving a hint for you to move over as no one had anywhere else to go.
I travel a lot up and down the M6 and steer clear of lorries as they always tailgate.....and before any lorry drivers turn up and say " omg you can't say that cos I don't" the ones that I have seen on the M6 do.
The thing I am aware of is they drive way too close to traffic.....if their lorry is laden and it takes a while to stop, maybe they should be aware of their stopping distances before sitting on peoples tails.

if its you driving the artic you shouldnt be that close then should you..
that way no car driver is gonna have to tap their brakes to make you back off are they!!!
if wagons tailgate me i gently slow down to about 25 mph then step on the gas.. they just cant catch you up then cos they cant accelerate quick enough.. especially good if you do it on an upward incline |

wagon drivers have no right to hint or otherwise to people to get the fuck out the way...
arent wagons restricted to 56mph in the UK???
if so how come i get wagons tailgating me at 70 on the motorway..???? |

my speedo overeads by 2 mph. i know that cos i have a GPS speedo on my satnav which is more accurate so i know that there are wagons out there doing way over 56mph...

The drivers that bug me are the ones you are following and they indicate left to park on a road, or go into a driveway or just plain turn left. You indicate right to overtake and they pull over to the right (almost hitting you) as though they are trying to turn an articulated lorry |

having a spark plug fitted in the exhaust with a switch they soon back off as I blip the throttle and a cloud of flame pops out.
