Aint one damn song that can make me break down and cry.....
Well thats cobblers. Was listening to my selection at random and on came a song called Memories (someone we'll never know) by a guy called Clint Mansell from the film Moon.
Before I knew it I had a tear running down my cheek.
So the question is are there any songs that get you blubbing? And I don't mean stuff where you cry because its indescribably bad. |

No particular lyrics to songs or tone has ever made me emotional but a really good guitar solo can give those hairs on the back of the neck a good standing and almost a tear to go with it. Has to be really spot on and in the right part of the song though. |

There's also "collapse the light into earth" by Porcupine Tree. There's a crescendo of strings in th middle which ends with a sustained electric guitar chord that sounds so sad.
And I don't even take hormones, what's wrong with me?! Must be Aunt Irma visiting. |

does'nt make me cry but is emotional.."
That gets a lump in my throat every time.
I cry when I hear Bridge over Troubled Water as it was played at a close friends funeral.
Also blub when I hear Danny Boy and Irish Eyes, both played at my nan's funeral, the person in life I loved more than anyone. |

i have found i have a signature tune......my hubby left me three months ago and tbh it was my third disasterous marriage. now giving up trying but this song came on the radio and summed me up to a tee.

Glitter in the Air by Pink. No idea why but the 'you called me sugar' line makes me burst into tears.
Wires by Athlete always gets to me too and Against All Odds often does.
Oh, and Sally's Pigeons by Cyndi Lauper now I'm old enough to understand it  |
