To all the real men that actually stepped up and took care of their children, the men who are doing it alone and the men taking care of a child another man couldn't.

I lost my dad 4 years ago, buried my step dad friday, have done both roles to my 4 children. Feeling a bit sad today. Trying to keep my self distracted.
Happy fathers day to those men out there that truly love their children and try their best |

Happy Father’s Day to you all.
I did all these things for years before I transitioned and am proud to still be called ‘Dad’ by my kids. They never mess up my pronouns either.

There is a lot of love for us single dad’s today. It’s not a easy job , especially when neither of your kid’s realise what day it is.
It’s not just single dads, single mums have to play dad every day.
It should just be parent’s day |

Today is bittersweet for me.
My dad and I always had a strained relationship which came to a head when I was abused for my sexuality and it became clear that my brother was preferred.
My daughter was twisted against me by my abusive ex, she’s a strong and independent woman now and I never give up on reconciliation but there’s a distance currently.
My younger boys are my world, I do anything for my kids, all of them and that includes the adorable little one that I’m now helping raise.
Being a dad is the best thing ever but today is hard, missing kids and trying to navigate relationships when I had no role model |

It's hard when you don't start life with the support you need. I made a decision to cut all ties with my 'dad' years ago and it was the right decision for me.
Take comfort in knowing you look after your kids and are doing the best you can |

I’m very lucky to have an amazing Dad, he’s ace.
Sadly I didn’t pick a good one for my kids but my own Dad has been an amazing father figure to my kids so all is good.
I have much admiration for all you Dads out there who are present & fully involved in your kids lives. |

Fathers day is traditionally for all you men and you deserve to have your moment
Please understand that some people only have one solid parent in their life so they like to celebrate them on this day too.
Whoever your celebrating, the day is about taking the time to appreciate the people who raised you, nothing more |

Some of us had to fight damn hard, through the legal system for many years to be part of our childrens lives because of abusive ex's determined to cut us out of our childrens lives. Our chilsren suffered as a result, and for some the fight goes on |

This is, unfortunately, very true.
Men make up less than 2% of single parents. Women may have to fight for residence but generally they usually win. |

Yes iv been to work 
As far as dad's that bailed lets also remember the women that gave them little other choices
I truly believe that more dad's would be as you say ( real dad's ) if they was genuinely given the opportunity |

Not every day you say you stopped your old man getting nicked - proud son alert
Well my old man wasn’t impressed with how neighbour spoke to him and mum….tbh I wasn’t either |
