Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Not street sweeping but this idea that wealthier areas shouldn't have poor people in them.

Before parts of Islington became chichi they were full of poor people. The wealthy displaced the poor with gentrification. Now the argument that because properties in those areas can command a higher sale price they should be sold off and councils should use the money to build cheaper areas. The least well off shouldn't live in better homes in 'expensive' areas. That will see all of the poor shipped out of London then.

Where does it end?

Westminster have been using social cleansing to ensure they win the most wards in local elections for yonks. They called it 'building stable communities'

It wasn't. It was homes for votes and highly illegal. They fixed the elections

Shirley porter fucked off and I can't remember if she ever paid the huge fine she received
