Why is it sad? I agree. I turn myself on more than anyone else can. 
As for the original question, I think it depends on the person. Some people are good in bed and some aren't. I don't think it matters what gender they are. |

You can be turned on by different things
Men excite me sexually but very rarely emotionally
Women excite me emotionally and sexually
So for raw abandoned sex then yes a man could excite me more than a woman
As for the overall thing, mind, body and soul sex, then no it's a woman
So I think it depends on the persons mindset at the time of the experience |

i've tried women and it did nothing for me at all, i personally think men are better at turning women on than women but i can only speak for myself of course but i doubt many women on here will say other wise or they're suggesting a woman can turn them on better than their fella |

I know Fi prefers a man, she has been with women but she prefers a mans touch and strangely, watching her with another woman did little for me also, when I thought it would. She wanted to try it when we first started this. That's why she now has herself as straight.
I much prefer seeing her get the attention of a man, maybe because I know she's enjoying it more.
That's just our experience.
