Paint - easier (and cheaper) to change when you feel like something different

When I moved in to the flat that I live in now about 8 years ago, some previous occupant had decorated the living room with textured paint, it's nice for scratching yer back on

The rest of the flat looked like it had been painted by Stevie Wonder

We are having the flat decorated in a couple of weeks so went to B&Q today and got lots of lovely paint including glitter paint!

Durham, North Yorkshire and can travel

Painted here as it was all newly renovated just before we moved in.

I do fancy wallpapering the odd wall though.

Paint generally, but I don't mind a papered feature wall.

Paint. As wallpaper damages the walls. New build house wouldn't like to wallpaper it. Same with previous house left it all white paint.

A bit of both. I like it when people make a feature wall with paper in plain painted rooms.

Some stunning wallpaper available but you can also do some great effects with paint & its cheaper (mainly) & easier to change.

Recently decorating my living & dining rooms & just used paint.

Paint I change my mind frequently and it's easier to change the room

Plus I'm messy so it would go everywhere

I love a feature wall but can't do it.

I like paper I can paint over. So easy to keep clean and fresh and change when the feeling to change is there.

Entirely depends on the quality of your walls and the skill of the decorator. I prefer paint as it’s easier to change if you get bored but I do like a feature wall
