I accidentally typed in fabsingers this morning which had me thinking...are there any fab singers on here? Do you have a fab singing voice? If you could have a fab singing voice what genre would you want to sing.
I certainly don’t have a great singing voice, though that doesn’t stop me  For me I would want to sing country music or R&B
Also if anyone wants to start a fab singing video challenge that would be cool  Voice videos were scary enough though some brave souls may be happy to show off their fab singing! |

I’m with you there. I feel sorry for anyone who is in the car with me. I just turn the music up so I can’t hear my own voice and I feel like my voice is the one coming out the speaker |

Mr Ruggers is as bad as me so we sing very badly together while thinking like you that we sound like the singer coming out of the speaker, if we had close neighbours they would be calling the police for the wailing ! |

As a student I used to make a bit of cash singing. Actually I made very little cash, since I somehow always managed to rack up a massive bar bill; if I was lucky I'd cover my costs, but *in theory* I made cash.
Sadly as with most things if you don't put the work in things deteriorate quickly. I can still carry a tune but my voice is far less agile than it once was and because I won't trouble to practice the tone is far breathier and less clear and my range has reduced.
It'll do karaoke but I'd never land a part in an opera! |

I love singing on karaoke. In empty houses im decorating. Been caught going for it loads.
Used to be a choirboy, halo slipped now  . Had a few stints on the disco/karaoke DJ scene a few years ago

I have a running joke with my wife with the fact I have a distinction in singing from College.
So yes, I have proof I can sing....
*my singing voice is not worth the paper it’s written on... |

I can’t sing for shit but it doesn’t stop me. I like singing/screaming along to metal, punk and ska.
Sid can sing though, he does a cracking rendition of Romeo & Juliette by dire straights *swoon* |

But only to myself - I'm shy.
I wasn't shy at school I sang at school a lot and occasionally at church with my dad - if you ignore the God thing gospel music is actually awesome |

I love singing, used to sing in a choir and I miss it.
At School I was in the drama group and was always chosen for the singing roles
Nowadays my singing is resigned to the car, my happy place, me and my car road tripping tunes on  |

I can't post videos of me fronting the Wurzels tribute act as they feature three other singers, who are not swingers. But it was a strange time, we did it for fun and ended up doing a couple of venues in Cornwall and I even picked up a groupie.
Might try and dig out one of me singing Solsbury Hill (Peter Gabriel) at a small music club in 2019.
I don't think I can sing all that well. Others tell me I can. Shrugs. |
