What is it about Trump that people like?
Because from any normal perspective, he appears to be insecure,confused and totally out of his depth and utterly unsuitable to hold a position in public office, never mind a decision making one at the top of the most powerful country in the world. |

He's not a politician. That's why he ruffles everyone's fethers. He's not a boofoon or stupid. He is a CEO. This country is just so used to nothing getting done that he has shocked and awwed the people. He actually has accomplished everything he said he would do in his first 4 years in office. Obviously he's going to run again and will get a second term.
Personally he's done nothing for me, but for the middle class he's done alone. Until Covid19 came along the United States has had the best 4 years in history. Record employment. (Our unemployment rate was at 2.8 percent.) The lowest since WWII.
Tax cuts across the board
Illegal immigration was reduced 80%
Large companies were bringing manufacturing back to the states. We became the 3 largest energy producer on the planet we even beat Saudi Arabia. |

People use the "he achieved what he said he would" line. But that only makes any kind of sense if he said he was going to do good stuff.
He helped to destabilise the middle East. He pulled the US out of the Paris Climate agreement. He removed regulations to set the states up for another catastrophic collapse. He fucked over poor people, and is trying to remove their healthcare. He added further strain on relations with the Muslim world. Etc
