Ive had similar and was given Cortisone (steroid) injections. If the pain killers don't work maybe ask about this OP . Hope it eases xx |

It’s horses for courses really. It’s about finding the ones that work for you. Gabapentin is fantastic. And strangely I can take morphine and carry on my day as normal. But tramadol sends me loopy. lol. |

Oh no. Can’t stand tramadol. Awful stuff. Morphine is much better, just don’t drink a bottle of brandy with them, if you do the world goes very wobbly. Lol |

Morphine, oramorph were my best mates for the time I was in hospital but they wouldn’t discharge me on them |

The best I’ve ever had was fentinyl (or however it’s spelt), that stuff was unreal. I was in an extraordinary amount of pain, but a dose of that stuff and I was away with the fairy’s having a great time.
I’m certainly not someone that would ever take heroin, but you can understand how people get addicted when you have related opioid drugs in hospital. |

"Rotator cuff is a horrible injury, I injured mine in a cycling accident. Physiotherapy helped mine once the pain had eased a bit. "
