Sad to hear he lost his battle with cancer.

Loved him as Simon Templar in the Saint and ive fond memories of my dad taking me to the cinema to see him as James Bond in Moonraker.

RIP.

Not my favourite Bond but by all accounts a genuinely lovely and charming man, who did great work with UNICEF. He had a wonderfully self-deprecating sense of humour. RIP.

As a kid I used to think my Dad was a Double 0 agent, because he wore double breasted suits and Italian slip on shoes just like James Bond did. (All the rage in the early 80s)

When I think of James Bond, I think of Sir Roger Moore and when I think of Sir Roger Moore I think of my Dad, ergo My Dad is James Bond.

How my brothers laughed at my dad all the way through the nineties and naughties for still sporting that Gordon Gekko power suit style, funny how styles come back around.

RIP Sir Roger.

He wasn't the best bond, but he was my favourite Bond. Seemed like a gent in his interviews and again I hear he did great charity work. Thank you for the memories Roger.

So sad to hear he passed away.

Cancer is a bitch.

Favourite James Bond. Loved him in A view to a kill and the saint. Grew up watching the movies.

Gentleman through and through.
