I love to be barefoot but recently had cause to visit the home of a family I will be working with. The man met me at the door, led me to the living room but before we entered he said 'your shoes go here', indicating to me to remove my boots...should I have taken them off or politely declined? |

I have a friend with those kinda rules...
Shoes off after the hall door..
Trousers in the kitchen...
Top on the landing...
Knickers off in the bedroom...

Depends of your relation, if you have a friendly relation thats ok to let the shoes in the entry, but the rules say that if you are a visit and you are not previously informed they shouldn't ask you that... But how someone already said their home their rules! If you accept your are welcome otherwise see you tomorrow! |
