No such place. I'm sure we all have bars we like, but when we go we're not in "Swinger mode", as these are places we would also go with our vanilla friends. Dublin is small and we want to avoid being outed or gossipped about.
I would not at all be inclined to approach someone in public about joining me and my partner. Th chance of rejection is just so high, when we have sites like this where we can set it up.

The front lounge, now Street 66 was a place we met with other couples and single women.
Sometimes pre arranged and sometimes by just striking up a conversation.
Back part up stairs was mainly gay guys, front part couples and girls.
Nowadays I think people are happy to chat and flirt openly and see where it leads.

I often heard it said that O'Sheas Merchant bar along Dublin quays was frequented by couples in the scene pre Internet.
We had our 1st mff with a girl we met in Break for the Border, not saying it was a swinger place just coincidental! |
