Hello there,
My company doesn't pay me on time and besides the delays, there are always mistakes with the payslips missing some of my payments.
Any idea who or how to solve this with a third party organisation?

Sadly OP
I don't have the right answer for you on this topic. I'd say the most common answer is to leave the company & get a different job altogether.
Apart from that maybe try the citizens information site, talk to an accountant, a solicitor or even talking to a representative from the revenue on the topic. As in the past I had a problem with a former employer over a P45.
It's not a nice situation to be in either. The closest to it, that I've a problem with is holiday's, it's shit really & it's not for this thread.

Are you working for a small or large company? Sometimes small employers tend to take the piss with new staff if they have cash flow problems. Larger companies tend to have a dedicated person sorting out pay or even hire a company to do it for them. If its a large company ask for number of wages department and explain what is happening.Best of luck OP. |

You need to do the following
1. Email ur employers explaining your concerns
2. Do u have a contact / terms and conditions of employment
3. Going to wrc is alot of work but worth it , you will have to gather all your documentation and payslips urself
4 .if its a small employer this will cause multiple issues for u
Ask urself do u enjoy working there is it worth the hassle... if the answer is yes go to wrc ... if no leave. |

Someone was hired to do a job, and is not doing it correctly.
.
You need to make such a nuisance of yourself over this (emails/meetings/phone calls) that that it's easier to discipline/train the person in charge of payroll, then to leave this issue unresolved. |

Had similar exsperience getting half d way on fri or sat then rest during the week had its toll on me bills to pay and he was literally laughing at me i had no option but to leave took me 3 weeks to finally get paid and still left me short 100 and then had the neck to ring me up few weeks later i said not if it was last job ever to be got would i go back any messing about just leave its not worth the stress to be honest left me in a bad way best of luck op |

@OP - advice from above poster is bang on the money… important have a paper trail with your employer.. even if they don’t respond formally you have raised your concerns formally.. in the eventuality of you going to the WRC |

Sadly not, I am not a union member. I heard about them when I suffered labour exploitation working in a HSE facility on May 2021 as a kitchen porter. We should have been 2 people but I was alone with more than 10 chefs and my back was broken by the end of the day keeping me 2 - 3 at home without the possibility to work.
I work for a recruitment agency with more than 1000 employees and I asked for a pay review As with the HSE there is a pay scale according to your experience but they didn't provide it in more than a year using Covid-19 excuses with an inflation over 10%.
As I am in a 'if and when' contract, after that, they are not giving me shifts and the ones that they provide to me are minimum rate, €12.70 now, and when the payslip comes every week I have had more payments issues during the past 5 months than last 5 years.

With the information you've updated on this post I'd see your best move would be to go and find yourself another job where you'll be treated better, paid correctly and on time.
There are plenty of jobs out there in the service industry so hopefully you'll find something pretty quickly.
Nobody should have to put up with the issues you're having in this day and age.
NERA might be worth a quick google.

The fact you are being treated badly should tell you enough.
There are legal remedies but it’s hard to change an attitude like that. |

This is easy for me to say, I know, but find a position direct with an employer rather than through an agency. Agency staff are generally short term so there isn't an incentive for the agency to to treat them well, whereas when you're on a long term contract direct with an employer, if the company looks after you, you look after the company. |

My situation isn't so different from yours. My hours have been reduced while others are consistently getting 5 says. I have since decided to look for work elsewhere. I hope you find something that is better and long-term! |
