I don't understand them, I've never needed to use a prepared line to talk a woman before aren't they just the introductory version of knock knock jokes?

I'm not boasting it's just they've never worked for me and I always find just finding something topical works more

I do prefer people who can compose their own sentences when attempting to introduce themselves.

Damn! I always find that originality is overrated myself.

"Fear of rejection" is very real for nearly all guys approaching a woman they're interested in so no harm having something funny/cheesy/charming to say...

Pick up lines delivered in a tongue and cheek way can be a good ice breaker and a giggle

If a guy approaches a woman and is cheeky funny, what's the harm??! Each to their own

I'm not judging, I'm just saying it doesn't seem to have as much success as just talking about what is going on

I don't mind the odd cheesy line, but a constant dripfeed of clichés or one-liners does make me wonder if there is anybody home

I find it kind of dull as well on the other end, it becomes more of a job when you're just saying whatever not that I am bashing guys who do it's just a personal thing I have.
